Opening in the fall of 2011, Envy Nightlife is the latest addition to the exciting venues offered by Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, NM. With Envy, Route 66 wanted to create an exciting nightclub experience for their casino and hotel patrons; while also providing an additional destination point for the casino. Beginning with the outside of the club, a distinctive oval motif transformed the curving walls into a compelling display that could be seen from all corners of the casino. The large dimensional oval elements are offset from the walls and highlighted by dynamic color-changing LED backlighting to create dramatic shadowing, and the signage is reverse illuminated to produce a beautiful color changing "Halo" glow. On the inside, a gigantic 50ft x 100ft tapered oval lighting structure with a complete array of fully programmable, color-changing LED lighting bars dominates the center of the space to provide an extremely exciting feature. Color-changing lighting and specialty gobo lighting is also integrated into two large five tiered cornices that frame the stage area, as well as the curving soffits and specialty chain curtains that surround the entire space. All of the specialty lighting, including the central "Eye" element, is designed to allow complete flexibility and control by the DJ to display an array of lighting patterns and animation for an electrifying nightclub experience.
