Little Creek Casino

Interior decor design and renovation - Shelton, WA

Little Creek Casino and the Squaxin Island Tribe brought in I-5 Design & Manufacture to create a new and exciting look for their main gaming area. Building from their tribal elements to also help create branding, we created and implemented a new design plan that incorporated a lowered ceiling structure with curving soffit lines accented by blue LED lighting; large multi-dimensional fish and canoe décor elements suspended from the ceiling; custom mica chandeliers, lanterns, and sconces; large stone pillars; custom designed wall murals; new structure build-outs with integrated signage for the lounge, players club, and cashier area; and custom designed carpet. All of the casino décor, signage, specialty lights and chandeliers, painting, column wraps, and valance elements were fabricated in-house by I-5 Design. The entire transformation was then implemented by I-5's installation team within six weeks, including carpet tear out and installation, as well as HVAC and security adjustments, while allowing the casino to remain open.

I-5 both designed and created all of the decor elements and signage elements throughout the gaming floor, including a curving overhead soffit structure that houses blue LED illumination, floor to ceiling columns with custom mica lanterns, custom mica chandeliers with incorporated 'Guardian of the Sun' imaging, ceiling mounted directional signage, custom wall mural with integrated tribal imaging, four custom designed canoe elements which are over 27 feet long and house concealed LED lighting suspended from the ceiling, and much more.

To create a look for the gaming floor that built on the casinos tribal background, I-5 created custom décor elements such as the four canoes which are suspended from the pit structure. These massive canoes are over 27' long and house various colors of concealed LED illumination reflecting onto the specialty patterned metal inside, providing the gaming area with a warm glow as well as offering a point of visual interest for the casino customers.

For the 'Players Club' and 'Cashier' areas, we created a look that tied into the new gaming floor area with elements such as the green and red LED up lighting, silhouetting the multi-layered dimensional letters. These custom letters were secured onto a support beam with a decorative metal inlay and specialty fiber steel brackets. This made the areas more appealing, while also providing ease of readability for the patrons.
