There are not many occasions in today's business world when a company, as a whole, demonstrates
their professionalism. An occasional display of exceptional customer service by some vendors is
a nice surprise, yet not expected.
The I-5 Design and Manufacturing staff have not only exceeded our customer service expectation,
they continue to find solutions to every little challenge presented to them. Each encounter with
an I-5 staff member has been professional, friendly, courteous, and solution based. Absolutely
top notch.
Duncan Williams approaches each meeting as if it is the first meeting he has had with us. He
is always working for our business. The lack of complacency is refreshing. His actions tell us
that he is never completely satisfied; he is always searching for ways to "make us look
great". Which continues to be accomplished at every turn. What an asset to I-5.
This wonderful treatment continues from the office staff to the installer and every one in
between. We have been completely impressed with the level of professionalism and high quality
of product that we have received.
There have been many occasions when writing this letter of appreciation would have been
appropriate, however long days tend to take priority and the complements thought, are not always
heard. In this case, the overwhelming, daily, complements from our staff toward I-5 just could
not be ignored.
A constant complement continues to flood my email "…they were very nice and pleasant
to have around the branch." Customers have even commented on "what a great job they
did and how impressed they were that they (I-5) did it correctly."
One of our Branch Managers wrote "Having a group of guys climbing around in front of
the doors all day could cause a real inconvenience for customers, but I-5 made it almost seamless
and didn't interfere with a single customer that I saw or heard about. Thank you for picking
such a good company. It makes a real difference to us in the branches."

It is with great pleasure that I recommend I-5 Design & Manufacture. Since the first sign order
in 1991 I have had numerous occasions to work with I-5 including signage for 10 new Anchor Bank
branches and buildings, installation of signs at four Wal-Mart in-store branches, as well as a
complete signage changeover in 2002. Our projects included initial signage design, site-specific
signage planning, permitting, manufacture and installation.
In working with Randy Hedrick, of I-5 Design & manufacture, I have found him to be
professional, knowledgeable, and solution minded. I have also found the entire I-5 staff, from the
office personnel to installers, to have the highest level of integrity and professionalism. I

This last year we opened our newest, largest store in the Northwest and in doing so brought
I-5 design and manufacture onto our team as the lead designer/manufacturer. We purchased with
the intent to remodel the 100,000+ square foot K-mart building in the heart of Renton, WA. I-5
was a tremendous resource from the conception of the project all the way through final
installation.
We began with a conceptual meeting where we sat down with Roger Robison, our account executive,
and described what we wanted to accomplish with our new store, and he took it from there. From a
detailed site survey, which included digital photos of our new site, the I-5 designers created
the initial design concept – showing us our building's "new look" including the overall
cost estimates for two different options to achieve our desired look. Once we had chosen, I-5
drafted the technical drawings and procured all the necessary permits.
As the scale of the project was quite large, the coordination also had many aspects. I-5's
fabrication & installation crews worked with several of our sub-contractors as well as their
own subs to remodel the entire front façade of our building. In any projects this size, I have
come to expect deadlines to change, so I really had no expectation of completion by our
target date, however I was pleasantly surprised. I-5 completed the project, including all the
necessary sign-offs and approvals, actually beating our original projections.
I have coordinated other projects like this one and in looking back, one of the big
advantages of working with I-5 was working with one company and a single contact keeping me
apprised of all the details. In the past, I had to deal with many different entities and their
schedules, but on this project, I-5 got me what I wanted – streamlined project management,
and an impressive end product that is far exceeding our sales projections. I-5 Design &
Manufacture is definitely a company I can highly recommend.
It is now several months after our Grand Opening, and we are extremely pleased with the
new operation and the high sales volume that has been generated. In fact, we have had days
when our gigantic parking facility has been overflowing to neighboring lots. Thank you I-5
Design & Manufacture.

buildings. The project involved extensive communication with campus staff, sign design,
location and an approval process that encouraged intermediate input.
The overall result of this project was positive and greatly improved campus way-finding.
