Store upgrade design and planning

The owner wanted to revitalize their market’s dated exterior with something dramatic, with an overall objective to increase the market’s revenue. I-5 designed the initial grocery store design concept which demonstrated to the customer that they did not need to make major structural changes in order to achieve a high-impact, upscale look at their downtown location. By working with the existing structure and framing members I-5 was able to drastically enhance this grocery market storefront with minimal construction.

The Exterior Market Design - This exterior grocery store remodel included a new entry tower with specialty copper sheeting. Open-faced, halo lit neon channel letters added to the impressive new look with added visibility for the grocery store location.

The Interior Market Design – This interior grocery store upgrade included signage design for the aisle markers, department signs, and check stand lane markers. The design helped to completely transfigure the look and feel of the interior of the store without major remodeling. The custom department décor and signage helped to differentiate between specialty areas such as the “chef prepared” salads, the “baked fresh” bakery, the “made to order” sandwich bar, and many others. The store carries many environmentally friendly products, as well as a wide variety of organic and natural foods. The new décor theme and signage designed by I-5 helped to emphasize these benefits and to create a pleasant, streamlined shopping experience for every customer who walks through the doors of this beautiful Bayview Market, located on the southernmost tip of the Puget Sound, in Olympia, Washington.
