Lake of the Torches Resort and Casino | Casino Design and Implementation

As an installer for I-5 Design and Manufacture, I am a witness to many mind-blowing renovations. Whether it is an entire remodel or a simple signage upgrade, I am always amazed at the finished product. Each time it amazes me how our designers can create dramatic improvements to the atmosphere of a casino floor through simple solutions like; wall coverings, carpet, and trims.

We recently completed an area upgrade at Lake of the Torches Resort and Casino in Wisconsin. We renovated the look of their dated players club with new signage, trims, and other custom decor. Replacing a simple lavender paint finish on the facade overhead was a three-foot tall, custom wall mural that wrapped the entire gaming floor. With the design based on the natural beauty of Wisconsin, I was impressed with the impact the mural had on the space. Without doing any of the staples of a standard remodel (new walls, more lights, different ceiling), we had changed the entire mood of their casino with a simple (although high-impact) wall covering! We then added a rustic wood trim to the top and bottom of the mural, which complimented the area and tied into the overall rustic theme of the casino.

For Lake of the Torches, and many other properties, we are able to create successful renovation plans with simple but effective solutions. From beautiful custom carpet and wall treatments, to entire facility re-design and implementation, we look for ways we can bring the best impact for the budget. I’m very proud of the work we completed at Lake of the Torches and look forward to returning to complete additional high-impact area upgrades.
