NEW Project Page | Seven Clans Casino

For the Seven Clans Casino, located in Thief River Falls Minnesota, we created a north woods, lodge style design theme using a color palette of terra cotta and midnight sky blue. In February of 2012 Seven Clans Casino contracted with I-5 to manufacture and implement the casino designs. Utilizing a game-changing manufacture and implementation method, each décor element was custom manufactured in-house at the I-5 Design & Manufacture facility in LaceyWashington. In-house personalized crews were then used for implementation of the décor plan on-site ensuring complete design intent and consistency throughout the project. The casino renovation areas included the gaming floor, cashier area, playersclub and the Triple Seven Malt Shop. The combination of the architectural river rock stone columns, custom internally illuminated mica chandeliers, two-toned birch tree mural bands with stained wood trim and accent lighting, wood grain wall coverings and a beautiful internally illuminated octagonal ceiling feature set in a medallion of specialty etched metal and directional and area signage worked together to inspire patrons and gamers to unwind and relax, while experiencing a truly unique casino destination for the region. The Triple Seven Malt Shop, located inside Seven Clans Casino, was uniquely designed to create a 1950’s style escape from the fast pace of the gaming floor, and bring patrons back to the retro dining era. The waiting area furniture was converted from vintagecars into custom couches to make an entertaining seating area within the diner. Polished chrome furniture, upholstered in retro fashion, fill the malt shopfloor. While still coordinating with the overall casino design theme, I-5 designed faux brick wall coverings, new curving front counter with specialty wood and metal facing, two-toned checker patterned vinyl flooring, custom printed and framed artwork, menu boards, ice cream cases, custom “Gas Can” gumball machine and a vintage jukebox brings consumers back to the “old days” to help create a unique area within the casino. The new casino design produced an environment that increased customer flow, and revenues by creating a unique destination in the Thief River Falls area. From manufacture to implementation, with no down time to the facility, the interior casino renovation was completed by the middle of May 2012.

Custom Materials | Carpet Design

An important element when designing and renovating a facility is the carpet. The custom carpet designs above were created specifically for casino gaming floors. We create designs with large flowing patterns that can make the casino rooms apear larger while complimenting the color palette and theme. All of our carpet designs are also manufactured as carpet tiles so the installation can be done in phases without interrupting the casino business. This also makes maintenance and replacing areas of the carpet much easier.

Custom Materials | Lighting Design

All of I-5’s custom lighting designs create a warm comfortable glow and welcoming atmosphere. We only use top of the line LED lighting and are continually progressing in our lighting design knowledge and applications to ensure that we provide state-of-the-art lighting design.

Above are a few examples of chandeliers that we have designed and applied in our designs. Each chandelier, pendant and wall sconce compliments the overall theme of the design and highlights the brand or tribal patterns. With amber acrylic diffusers, punched copper, iridescent metals and warm colored mica materials, our custom lighting design creates a dynamic ambience and adds visual interest to any space.

Before & After Casino Design

With no structural changes I-5 Design created a completely new look for this casino. With a new building color, mountain mural band around the top, accent lighting, stone columns at each entry and new specialty illuminated signage, this drab casino was transformed into an inviting destination.

Mood Boards | Design Inspiration

Before starting a design, I-5 creates a mood board for the client. Mood boards consist of colors, textures and design inspirations. Once approved, these elements are implemented into the decor items. Whether it is the texture of the material or the color palette chosen, the design inspiration creates a theme, which is dispersed throughout the entire facility.
