Casino Design, Manufacture & Implementation | Comanche Nation Casino

Challenged with an old and unimpressive facility, Comanche Nation Casino turned to I-5 Design & Manufacture to completely update the entire interior and exterior with a high-impact, unifying design theme. Utilizing I-5’s specialty decor fabrication and fast paced renovation techniques, the entire property was drastically transformed into a gaming destination. Our design team worked to create a functional and attractive design scheme that worked with the existing structure. The design was integrated into 1-5’s in-house manufacturing system resulting in precise translations from design to manufacture. I-5’s implementation team created a very well thought out plan, which transformed the entire casino in a very short time frame with little down time to the casino’s operations.

Custom Materials | Wall Coverings & Applications

We have custom designed many unique wall coverings and applications. Blending natural themed elements and custom designed materials we create unique and inviting atmospheres. These rustic materials create a base for a lodge style theme, and support the unique decor elements used throughout the venue. Most of these custom coverings are used in casino designs. The natural elements like river rock and wood veneer combined with specialty-etched metals add interest and compliment the space. We custom designed some of these elements for the Seven Clans Casino design. Check out the project profile to see how these elements can be applied.

Casino Pauma | Gaming Floor Design Rendering

Casino Pauma Casino Floor Design Rendering

For the gaming floor at Casino Pauma our goal was to create an upscale comfortable gaming environment. As you can see the existing gaming floor was very bare lacking style and theme. We created a casino design that would give the venue a classic lodge style casino, staying true to both culture and environment.

Throughout the casino we designed wood veneer beams to cover the existing ceiling for a more pleasing look and also allow us to suspend the custom chandeliers lower for a warmer glow. The custom chandeliers were designed with an old world iron finished frame and amber mica triangular insets adding character and detail to the area. An abstract orange leaf patterned mural band with vivid purple I-METAL accent trim was added to the perimeter of the gaming floor design. Another custom element adding tremendously to this design is the carpet. Our design team created a larger scale flowing pattern for this carpet design. All of the colors in our color palette are represented in the carpet helping to unify the interior design.

Each element in this themed casino design brings together the overall rustic lodge style, orange grove casino design theme. Check back next week for another look inside the NEW Casino Pauma!

Custom Materials | Texture & Application Design

Every design we create is unique and custom. We only use quality, commercial grade materials that are rated specifically for high-traffic areas. The high-quality polyurethane finishes are applied in a temperature-controlled spray booth for the best possible look and durability. Combining sleek, metallic finishes  with rich materials we add interest to each area in the design. All of our materials and finishes create a luxurious ambience and compliment the overall space.

With an agressive research and development team, we provide new patterns and textures with different materials to ensure that we are giving our clients a one-of-a-kind destination and the best possible solution for their facility.

Casino Pauma | Red Parrot Lounge Design Rendering

Red Parrot Lounge Design Rendering

In January of 2011, Casino Pauma contracted with us to create a new interior and exterior casino design for their facility. As you can see the existing casino design was very dated, with a tropical tiki theme, and was in need of a complete renovation. Gathering from the surrounding orange groves in the Pauma Valley area, we created a color palette of vivid purple, rust orange and jewel toned red. Adding warm wood architectural elements and soft amber lighting fixtures created a very welcoming ambience throughout the casino.

Walking through the stone veneer, tapered columns we enter the Red Parrot Lounge off of the gaming floor. Above is a wood veneer architectural structure designed with our programmable, color changing LED lighting system washing a vivid purple hue over the entire lounge. The LED lighting combined with the warm amber glow from the custom chandeliers created a luminous lounge design with a confortable, intimate atmosphere.

The new double-sided, internally illuminated Red Parrot Lounge sign is a focal point for the lounge as well as passer buyers. Behind the lettering is a panel of our custom I-METAL material, finished in jewel-toned red. On either side of the sign is a panel of custom manufactured, simulated stained glass showcasing the orange grove trees from the casino design theme. The sign helped to set the mood for the lounge as well as set the direction for the other design elements.

The new Red Parrot Lounge design provides an area that is set apart where patrons can take a break from the fast pace of the gaming floor. The half walls around the lounge help to block the noise and create intimacy within the space. As the project moves along we will be posting updated so stay tuned!
