Rosebud Casino

Valentine, Nebraska

Project Objectives

Looking to bring new energy and excitement to their Rosebud Casino, the Rosebud Sioux Tribe asked I-5 for both exterior and interior conceptual casino design. The tribe also asked that the décor include references to their native Sioux heritage.

Design & Planning

Inside and out, floor to ceiling, I-5 Design's plan rejuvenated the entire Rosebud Casino property. Exterior signage, lighting and entry upgrades created the overall sense of a premier property. Inside, a deep sense of history combined with contemporary styling to achieve an appealing ambience.

Engineered architectural pillars of wood and stacked flagstone adorn the exterior.  A new porte cochere fascia surround integrates LED lighting and native patterning.  Inside, breathtaking custom murals depict Sioux history and culture. These are flanked by interior columns mirroring the same wood and stacked flagstone of the exterior and are mounted with prairie-style, shield-like luminaries.  Suspended ceiling structures in several areas feature wood beams and custom chandeliers which showcase the Lakota (Sioux) star pattern to complete the cultural theme of the updated property.
