Gold Bar
The leadership team at Gold Country Casino understood that they needed to infuse more energy into the gaming areas at their location, while also recognizing the need for additional beverage services. An all-new gaming floor bar was planned which recaptured an underutilized area of the gaming floor and added to the appeal and excitement of the property. A new overhead ceiling structure, free flowing counter layout, and a dynamic video wall behind the bar all contribute to create a unique destination within the property, while keeping customers in the center of the action.

Our Approach
Design & Planning
A warm, earth-toned color palette was inspired by the surrounding Northern California geography. The Gold Bar design centers around two LED media screens positioned behind the bar that play custom content designed for this specific venue. Bartop slot machines and adjacent TV’s create an ideal place to watch a sporting event. play a game, or stop and enjoy a beverage. The three-tiered structure above the bar is inspired by Tribal basketry and sets the venue apart from the rest of the gaming floor, while keeping guests in the center of the action.
Build & Install
The majority of this project was built off-site at I-5 headquarters to ensure the best quality across all aspects of the project and minimize disruption to gaming floor activities. During the offsite build, power and data locations were planned into the base of the walls, which created space for 40 additional slot machines to stay on the gaming floor and continue to generate revenues throughout the project. The remainder of the gaming floor was open and active during the project, protecting revenues and generating guest anticipation for the coming venue. The onsite implementation included bringing in fully assembled casework and overhead decor structures, which reduced the origional schedule by 2 weeks.
Finished Project
The Gold Bar venue has added a new amenity which has had a positive impact on the entire gaming floor and has created a greater draw for the casino. Physical as-built drawings and digital project documents for the project were provided as part of the close out process to ensure they have all the information necessary for successful ongoing operations. The Tribe and Management team are both very happy with the visual impact the project has created and results the new venue has created for the property.
