Pala Casino set out to streamline service and enhance guest experience with a unified, around-the-clock dining concept.

As a destination resort in the California gaming market, Pala wanted to combine operations at two smaller quick-service locations to produce a single high-quality 24-hour food option that offered both sit-down dining and grab & go choices. Locating the grab & go outlet adjacent to the gaming floor, provides customers with a quick option that keeps them close to entertainment. A shared kitchen further streamlined operations, while producing a beautiful food and beverage destination.

Creating a design plan for the casino that incorporated both a sit-down restaurant and grab & go dining option required two separate areas that shared visual design cues and back-of-house accessibility. Working with the existing structural and overall kitchen locations, created a scenario where the budget could be focused on customer-facing finishes and visual elements to produce a destination ambiance.
