Along with other major renovations throughout the property, Casino Pauma wanted to add a new café-style Noodle Bar in order to provide a casual dining option for their guests.
Design & Planning
The Noodle Bar's casino restaurant design plan reiterated material choices found throughout the casino, including stacked brick, wood veneer elements, and wrought iron-style accents.
A color palette featuring rusty oranges and yellows with cherry wood accents and warm lighting elements distinguishes the new café from surrounding areas. Privacy-enhancing half walls, topped by Asian-inspired wrought-iron style railings, and tapered, illuminated chandeliers create a dynamic entrance. Stacked brick columns are positioned on either side of the signage and a custom wall mural on the back wall are both set off by wall coverings in orange and yellow tones with an abstract leaf pattern. Custom designed fan wall art accentuates the Asian theme while continuing the flow throughout the venue.
Build & Install
The Asian Noodle Bar was completely renovated as part of the overall decor package for Casino Pauma.
I-5 designed, managed and executed the casino restaurant design for the Asian Noodle Bar and the entire Casino Pauma property. From beginning culminating in the completion and placement of physical structures and design elements, the “Concept to Completion” process allows for a seamless project working with the general manager and employees to minimize disruption to the guests and to the property’s business. The Asian Noodle Bar is now a unique dining destination set apart from the gaming floor and adds another source of revenue for the casino.
The Asian Noodle Bar was a new dining venue that Casino Pauma added during the renovation. I-5′s concept to completion process provided Casino Pauma with a turn-key project that supported the overall design theme and added unique elements to the overall look and feel of the space.
With no down time to casino operations, the Asian Noodle Bar and entire gaming facility were transformed in just four months.
The entire renovation project was coordinated by I-5 Design and was completed in less than 6 months. Included in this project all customer-facing areas, floor to ceiling gaming floor décor, complete transformations for the Red Parrot Lounge and Triple Seven bar locations, an all-new preview room for guests to experience new games coming to the property, all new buffet serving line and the construction from the ground up of the new buffet’s dining area, a new café dining venue, addition of a new Noodle Bar, and a major update to the exterior of the property.
