Invoking the layout and atmosphere of an old-time mercantile, a design was developed that created differentiated spaces for each of the departments in the store. Seating areas were also incorporated for patrons who wanted to sample the market's gourmet wares on the premises.
The design included custom marquee signage and curved copper window valances as a nod to the architectural history of the historic building. The new interior layout encourages traffic flow throughout the store’s various sections.
